A LERES South Unit in Nîmes: Biodiagnostics unit

Between Cévennes, Mediterranean and Provence, Nîmes, the Roman, has just opened its doors to the EHESP by fostering the creation of the LERES South Unit. Located between the Roman amphitheatre and the square House (Roman temple), the Biodiagnostics unit took is installed on the premises of the Nîmes (bio)technological.

Main mission of the LERES South Unit is the research and development of rapid characterization systems of emerging substances, toxins, pathogens, biomarkers,… by biosensing or physico-chemical detection (Biodiagnostics). This thematic complete perfectly know-how and experience of LERES in physicochemical analysis of substances and microbiological detection of pathogens (under certification).
